Career Discovery Lab
Most students have a default direction: a declared major, a plan that seemed obvious, or what the people around them expect. Some don't have one yet. Either is a good place to start. Discovery Lab helps you look at where you're headed with intention, explore real alternatives, and test your thinking by talking to people who do the work.
The Career Discovery Lab runs six sessions over 8 to 10 weeks, with a stretch of real-world outreach before the last one. Some conversations run long and pick up the following week. That flexibility is built in.

Cost: $1,300
Phase One: Understand (2 weeks)
Session 1: Where You Are. We take stock of what you've done so far: classes, jobs, internships, clubs, projects. However much or little that is, it tells us something. You also write down why you're here and we come back to it at the end.
Session 2: Looking Back. We go deeper into your experiences: what energized you, what drained you, and what that might be telling you.
Phase Two: Reframe (1 week)
Session 3: Priorities and Constraints. You name what matters to you in work and in life, think about which skills you want to build during college, and separate what's truly fixed from what only feels fixed.
Phase Three: Generate (1 week)
Session 4: Three Paths. You sketch three possible paths and weigh each on resources, interest, confidence, and fit. The first is the direction you're already on, looked at with fresh eyes. The other two are real alternatives.
Phase Four: Test (3 weeks)
Session 5: Reaching Out. For many students, contacting someone they don't know is a first. We talk through what makes it hard, draft your message together in session, and set a date to send it.
Weeks 6–7: Outreach and conversation. You send your message and have your first exploratory conversation with someone doing work you're curious about. A quick check-in partway through keeps things moving.
Phase Five: Where to Go From Here
Session 6: Reflect and Next Steps. We revisit why you came in, talk through what you learned from your conversation, and choose an honest next step. For some students, that's the Career Accelerator. For others, it's more exploring. Sometimes the right move is to let what you learned settle.
